Let's Tessellate - Courtesy of Laura Brown

An ode to that special someone... Or just a geeky maths related joke? Well, a bit of both probably!

This is the latest print by artist and designer Laura Brown, who just happens to be the other half of collaboration, BrownFerrari. Watch this space for more news; exciting things are a-brewing!

From Iceland with Love

Wow. Iceland. A beautiful country with amazing countryside. Leave the capital, Reykjavik and looks like you're on the moon. Craters and mountains. Not to mention a few geysers. A great chance to try out my new camera. Reykjavik is a great city too. Small as it is, it's buzzing with culture and creativity. And of course quite a few cool bars and shops to be enjoyed.

Life's Essentials

Aren't these little shakers beautiful? David Shrigley has used his classic dark humour to give a twist to these everyday items. You can pick them up now at the Concrete Hermit shop.

Twit Twit Twitter

I've done it... I've given in and jumped on the Twitter bandwagon. I've not really got into it yet or written much, but I'm sure I'll be addicted to it before you know it.

I think I need to get out more. www.twitter.com/sarahferrari

Back in Action

Finally... new flat, laptop back, projects ahoy!

After a leak-disaster in my old flat, where my laptop was found sitting in a puddle in my living room; it has finally been brought back from the dead!

And now I'm in a lovely new flat (above)... so it's all gravy and there will actually be some new posts from me as I can do stuff - yay!

Hello! How funny...

Well... here it is in all it's magazine glory! Not a magazine I regularly read, I have to admit, but still nice to see your work getting published!

Check out Hello! magazine this week page 60 to read the full article.

Zavvi Savvy...

A piece I recently completed for Disney, this famous scene was recreated in the window of Zavvi in Piccadilly Circus; with a host of celebrities and the public having their photograph taken to make up this mosaic to publicise the launch of Disney's Sleeping Beauty on DVD.

The final printed artwork will be auctioned off for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. It's already starting to get some great publicity.

Hej!

This pleased me when I saw it. Greatly. This little beauty is something I spotted on a recent trip to Sweden, in a little street in Orebro... not the most exciting town, but this is a great twist on street art stickers.

Flickr off...

Just a little note to say that you can see a regularly updated archive of my work on my Flickr page.

But this is still the place to see all of my latest work and news!

The Flat Earth Society

Here's a little project I've dug out from a few years ago. It's a mockumentary made at university with my good friend and brilliant illustrator; Tom Forman.

A public educational film about the real-life organisation; The Flat Earth Society. Everything stated in this film is based on what the society actually believes, we've not had to make up any of the 'facts'!

Bestivities

This pretty much sums up Bestival 2008 for most people; mud, rain and scenes not dissimilar to something from the Somme. Despite this, everyone I know who went had a great time, brilliant music and amazing costume efforts.

So did I, but of course, me being me, some of my favourite things I saw this weekend were on the ferry over:

Pleased to meet you...

Hello, and welcome. I've expanded my internet savviness and I've jumped on the blogwaggon.

It's a way of keeping you updated on my work, play and anything I generally like.

So whilst my website is 'under construction' (clearly by some stereotypically lazy tea-drinking builders), this is where you can see my most up to date stuff.
